Main Event Day 1A: Serge Coles Leads The Way As Play Ends For The Day

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

We have ended play for the day in Event 18 here at the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open.” 210 players started the day with hopes of building a big stack to take forward to Day 2 on Sunday and nearly 12 hours later we were down to 48 players, meaning nearly a quarter of the field survived. Among those making it through to day 2 were Michael Mizrachi and David Diaz but it is Serge Coles leading the way with 249,500 in chips followed very closely by Nigel Murray with 249,000 in chips. Rounding out the top three is Kevin Froemming with 233,300. Players will return at 1 p.m. on Sunday. For those that did not make it through or have not yet taken their shot, Day 1B will get underway tomorrow at noon. We will have full chip counts as soon as they become available.
