Event 20: Allan Bieler – 8th Place ($1,063)

$250 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 20: 4,000/8,000/1,000 Ante

It was folded to Alex Boytan on the button who limped in. Gil Morgenstern completed from the small blind and Allan Bieler checked his option from the big blind.

The flop came 6s4s3s and Morgenstern checked. Bieler led out for 10,000 and Boytan raised it up to 27,000. Morgenstern flatted that raise and Bieler wasted little time in announcing that he was all in. Boytan quickly folded and Morgenstern snap-called.

Bieler had flopped a straight with his 7s5c but Morgenstern had one-upped him with a flopped flush with his Qs2s. Bieler had one out to the 5s but it would not come as the turn was the Jc and the river was the Tc.

A shocked Bieler sighed and said “how does that happen” as he was eliminated in eighth place.

Event 20: Jose Navarrete – 9th Place ($753)

$250 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 20: 4,000/8,000/1,00 Ante

On a flop of Ac9h6c, Jose Navarrete got his last 40,000 in after Kenny B. had raised Howie Hershkovich’s 20,000 bet to 60,000. Hershkovich folded and Kenny turned over AxJx for flopped top pair while Navarrete had 8c5c for a club flush draw and an inside straight draw. The turn gave Kenny two pair as it was the Js and the river would fill him up as it was the Ah.

Navarrete finished in 9th place for $753.

Event 20 – Arlene Vasquez – 11th Place ($599)

$250 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 19: 3,000/6,000/1,00 Ante

An action pot just went down that has gotten the tournament to the final table of ten. Three players were all in pre-flop and Greg Marcus folded AxKx not wanting to tangle with the three all in’s. The hands were as follows:

Gil Morgensztern 6h6c
Arlene Vasquez AdQh
Jose Navarrete KhKc

Morgensztern would race into the lead when the flop came Jc9s6s and that lead would hold on the 5s turn and Qc river. Vasquez was covered and eliminated in 11th place while Navarrete was crippled down to 25,000 after the bad beat.

Event 20: Raymond Ruszkowski – 12th Place ($599)

$250 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 19: 3,000/6,000/1,00 Ante

A short-stacked Raymond Ruszkowski got the last of his chips in with AcTh against the 8h8c of Allan Bieler. The board would run out KcJc7h8d7c to give Bieler a full house, eights full of sevens and eliminate Ruszkowski in 12th place. This was Ruszkowski’s fifth cash of the tournament series – quite impressive!!!

Event 20: George Boyadjan – 15th Place ($502)

$250 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 18: 2,500/5,000/500 Ante

George Boyadjan moved all in for his last 48,000 from the cutoff after Jose Navarrette had limped in. He was called by Alex Boytan out of the small blind and Navarrette let his hand go. Boyadjan proudly turned over 9c4d and smiled when he saw Boytan’s KdKc.

Boyadjan picked up some ous on the Jh8d4s flop but the turn was the 7s and the river was the Qh to eliminate him from the tournament in 15th place for $502.
