Level 18: 8,000/16,000 Limits
Seven Card Stud

Down to 5,000 chips, Christian Ivens could only watch and hope.

With Peter Cleven and Gary Johnson in the hand, Johnson fired out a 16.000 chip bet on fifth street clearing Cleven out and leaving Ivens in the hand heads-up.  Johnson was far ahead turning up 7dAdKhAcKs against Ives with Kd9cAsTc2s.  Ivens picked up ThJc and it was not enough to stay alive.

Christian Ivens finishes in 6th place winning $668.

Omaha 8

The chip leader going in to the final table is now gone.

In Omaha 8, David Hassen was all-in on a 2c8dTs flop and was called by Joel Harwood and Elsie Rodriguez.  After checking down the AhQs board, Harwood turned over JhTh8sQd for two pair but Rodriguez showed Ac3h2sKd for a higher two pair. Hassen also hit two pair with his QcTdKc6c but it was not enough and Rodriguez took the pot eliminating Hassen.

David Hassen finishes in 7th place winning $557.

Gary Flur is the next to fall on our final table.

After a board of 9d8h4cQs, Joel Harwood fired out 10,000 and Flur went all-in for his remaining 16,500.  Peter Cleven called and Harwood folded.  Flur turned up QcJs but Cleven had him outkicked holding KdQd.  The 3d hit the river and Flur was eliminated.

Event 14: Bubble Burst

$250 H.O.R.S.E. (Re-Entry)
Level 15: 4,000/8,000 Limits
Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo

It took one hand on the final table to get our first elimination and burst the bubble in Event 14.

Bob Mangino was in for his last 3,000 chips and faced off with three opponents.  By the time action was completed, Mangino was facing down Gary Flur and Gary Johnson.  Flur showed Ah6s3d7d4s7s5d for the low and the straight.  Johnson missed his flush and Mangino turned up pairs of kings, queens and jacks missing the full house and ending his evening.

We are now in the money as play continues in Event 14.

While the action continues in the Championship Event, Event 14 has been rolling along.  53 players entered the H.O.R.S.E tournament and eighteen are still alive.

And it wouldn’t be a mixed game tournament at Seminole Hard Rock without Robert Campbell.  Campbell has won an incredible eleven mixed game titles in his poker career with three of them coming here in Hollywood, FL.  Campbell will look to try to make it a dozen as play continues here in Event 14.
