Championship: 13th Place – Russell Thomas

$5,300 Championship NLH $10 Million Guaranteed (Re-Entry)
Level 29: Blinds 30k/60k/10k ante

There was a quick run to the payout desk during today’s first level but it took 45 minutes of the second to get the next all-in called.

Russell Thomas ran his short stack up to 2.4 million before getting in a pre-flop raising war with Mike Leah. Thomas three-bet to 330,000 after Leah opened for a min-raise. Leah responded with a four-bet to 650,000 and Thomas quickly moved all-in. Leah called with QhQs and was coin flipping against AdKh.

Thomas was drawing thin after the Qc5d3d flop and dead on the Ah turn. Thomas made a valiant effort to get back in the game but was sent out in 13th spot for $77,326. Leah joins Martin Hanowski in the 7 million chip club.
