Clifford Conners raised from the hijack to 9,000, Anthony Zinno moved all in from the small blind for 30,000, and Conners called with Ad5h.

Zinno turned over 10s10d, and needed his hand to hold to stay alive.

The flop came Jc9x5d, and the turn card was an 8x.

But that’s when Chris Perry noticed that a card was hidden behind the jack, apparently stuck there. The dealer slid it out to reveal the As.

It was a four-card flop.

Floorpeople were called over, and eventually Tournament Manager Jason Heidenthal to confirm the ruling. There is a specific ruling on the books for this situation, and that procedure was followed.

Since the original order of the cards was uncertain, all four cards would need to be shuffled amongst themselves, and a fresh flop put out using those four cards.

The new flop came out AsJc5d, which of course gave Conners a big lead in the hand with two pair against Zinno’s pocket tens. The 9x that was originally on the flop became the next burn card.

The turn card was the 6c, the river card was the 4c, and Conners won the hand with two pair, aces and fives, to eliminate Zinno from the tournament.
