In the last hand before the dinner break, preflop action created a pot of a million with the first three cards reading . Justin Datloff then bet 400,000 from the hijack, Jonathan Jaffe called on the button, and Dan Martin check-raised to 2.4 million from the big blind.

Datloff folded before Jaffe thought for a while before he reraised all in, and Martin called for the last of his chips for 3.5 million in all. The two players then flipped over their cards.

Jaffe flopped two pair kings and nines but Martin was ahead with trop nines. Martin doubled up to survive with 8.4 million, and Jaffe was at 8,885,000 after the hand.
