Michael Wang

The Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood cruised through two opening flights of the $2 Million Championship and now everyone remaining will gather as one in the ballroom. The tournament drew 585 entries and 215 players are still around with a chance to hoist the trophy in a few days.

Of those 215, WSOP bracelet winner Michael Wang leads them all but he has some talented players chasing including Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Faraz Jaka returning with the third biggest stack. Joining Jaka for the SHRP team are Mukul Pahuja, Sheddy Siddiqui, Jared Jaffee, Matt Affleck, Michael Laake, Darryll Fish, and Matt Stout along with the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s Wally Maddah and Natasha Mercier.

We also have three former RRPO Champions still alive for a second title. Jake Bazeley, Matt Waxman, and Victor Figueroa could pull off something special if they run the table once again.

It’s a very talented field and the link below will show who is still around and how they will start their Day 2 at noon.

Top ten returning stacks:

  1. Michael Wang – 244,300 (204 bb)
  2. Amir Tawfik – 240,000 (200 bb)
