James Calderaro raised from the hijack to 225,000, and Benjamin McCoy called from the big blind.

The flop came AhQc8s, McCoy checked, Calderaro bet 200,000, and McCoy check-raised to 625,000. Calderaro called.

The turn card was the 10s, McCoy bet 850,000, Calderaro moved all in for 2,625,000, and McCoy called with AsQs for top two pair with an ace-high flush draw.

Calderaro turned over KsJs for an ace-high straight with a lower flush draw. Calderaro needed his straight to hold to stay alive.

“I knew the ten of spades was coming on the turn,” said Calderaro.

The river card was the Jh, and Calderaro won the pot with his ace-high straight to double up in chips.
