Championship: Playing for the Final Table

$3,500 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” Championship
Level 23:  10,000/20,000/3,000 Ante

It’s our last day in the ballroom as the Championship plays down from two tables of 18 to the televised final table of six.

Joshua Gibson took the lead late on Day 3 but will face stiff competition if he hopes to ride his stack to that final table. He will have to content with pros Marvin Rettenmaier, Jessica Dawley, Nipun Java, Jake Bazeley, and Seminole Hard Rock Poker ambassador Matt Stout among the remaining players.

It will be a long day with the average stack sitting at 64 big blinds with 38 minutes remaining at the 10,000/20,000/3,000 ante level. It’s still anyone’s game and they have plenty of room to make moves without feeling pressure from the blinds. Everyone is guaranteed $15,197 but looking for the $568,687 waiting up top for the winner.

Players are taking their seats, unbagging their chips, and we will be underway shortly.
