It was a race and Nguyen needed to hold to double. The flop was safe for him but Buckner pair his ace on the turn to take the lead. The river sent Nguyen in 33rd place and prompted a celebration.

“I told you cuz!” Buckner said. “I knew it was coming on the turn.”
