We thought Flight B would push the prize pool over the $100,000 guarantee in the early afternoon, we were incorrect. The prize pool topped that mark before the clock hit noon and we’ve added a bit more since.
Players will cruise through Level 3 before taking their first break and we are looking at another big day.
Flight B of Deep Stack Poker Series Event 1 gets underway at 11 am and it will not take long for the $400 buy-in tournament to hit its $100,000 guarantee. With 223 entries in Flight A, only 81 more are needed to build a six-digit prize pool with tons of time to run it up.
Players start with 30K deep stacks and all Day 1 levels last 40 minutes, increasing to 60 minutes at the start of Day 2 and 90 from Level 27 until the tournament gets heads-up. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Day 2 on Sunday at 11 am.
