Registration is closed in Flight E of the $560 Escalator Series event and the attendance figure is final. The fifth of six starting flights drew 267 entries bringing the combined field to 931. That has the prize pool at $465,500.

Tonight’s sixth and final Flight F is still to come. Cards go in the air at 7pm with registration and re-entry available until about 11:30pm.

George Navarro appears to be the first to six figures with about 115,000 chips. That’s good for the top stack at this point with the close of registration just moments away. The Level 8 clock shows under 10 minutes left and when it expires, players will go on a 15-minute break. After they return registration will be closed and the field will be final.

With 236 entries, Flight E is easily the largest starting day to date (surpassing Flight A’s 183). That has the field at an event 900 with a $450,000 prize pool. With loads of chips in play and a number of players jockeying for Day 2 position, we expect some big stacks to emerge throughout the afternoon. We’ll take a look at some of the players who are running it up shortly.

Gil Aboodi has made his deepest tournament runs count. The Hollywood, Florida resident’s two largest cashes come in at $83,751 and $71,890 respectively. From there, his third largest cash is just $4,418.

Aboodi carded a recent win during Tampa’s Winter Poker Open recording the aforementioned $71,890 score. The $83,751 score came a couple months before that during Hollywood’s WSOP Circuit $580.

No doubt Aboodi is in the midst of a hot streak earning the vast majority of his $189,836 reported cashes in just the last five months. He’s hopeful that’s a sign of things to come going forward and eyes what would likely be his largest career score ever were he to emerge victorious in the $560 Escalator.

It’s a long road ahead with Flight E now showing 224 entries bringing the five-flight total to 888 and growing.

First break’s a wrap and nearly 200 entries are back in their seats in the Escalator $560. Josh Robins holds one of the biggest stacks in the tournament with better than 70,000 to his name. He’s approaching quadruple starting stack and is trending the right direction with about two more hours of late registration remaining.

With the 136th Flight E entry, the $400,000 guarantee in the Escalator $560 was officially met as the combined field reached 800. The clock moved up quickly from there surpassing the figure and growing the prize pool further toward half a million dollars.

Registration and re-enty is available until about 3:30pm with the sixth and final flight slated for tonight at 7pm.

It’s 11am and we’re a go for Saturday’s Escalator play at the Seminole Hard Rock. The one-of-a-kind series finale began Thursday and today’s play sees the final two flights lift off.

As is, the field stands at 664 entries generating $332,000 toward a hefty $400,000 guarantee. That figure is a lock as Saturday’s action is expected to surpass the previous two days in terms of turnout and the prize pool should settle in somewhere above $500,000.

Flight E kicked off just moments ago and players are filing in to 20,000-chip starting stacks. They’ll log 30-minute levels on Day 1 with registration available until ~3:30pm and action concluding around 6:40pm.
