Escalator $560 Flight E is wrapped and Flight F is set to kick off at 7pm with play stretching until about 2:40am. With that, Saturday’s updates have come to a close.

The combined field sits at 931 entries generating $465,500. That figure has all but locked up the $500,000 milestone with the 7pm action sure to draw another bundle of entries to push the prize pool past a half million dollars.

Complete chip counts, table draws and payout information will be posted in the morning by 9am. Tournament updates will resume at 1pm.

Josh Robins bagged the Flight E chip lead following a late double bustout. The hand saw Robins’ emerge best when it ranout the nuts — — for Broadway. Two players hit the rail and it sprung Robins’ stack to 237,500.

Level 14 is here and it marks the final level of the night. There’s 72 remaining players at present and they’ll play about 20 more minutes before tournament staff draws a predetermined number of hands to log before action concludes.

There’s a number of stacks nearing the 200,000 mark, but we’ll keep an eye on the action between now and bagging to figure out who’s going home as the Flight E chip leader.

Flight E’s final break wrapped just a few moments ago and action is back underway with blinds of 800/1,600 and a 200 ante. The play is slated to last three more 30-minute levels before those still around bag and tag at roughly 6:40pm. They’ll return tomorrow at 1pm to play for a big top prize along with an added $3,500 WPT Poker Showdown Championship seat.

Gil Haim has made his way to the top of the counts over the last few levels. He currently enjoys about 160,000 chips and appears to be at or near the top of the counts.

The clock shows only 81 still in the game and that figure will steadily go down over the next roughly 90 minutes.

Davian Santana has enjoyed a number of notable scores in his homestate of Florida. Most notably were a pair of finishes in some big events right here in Hollywood. First came the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship with a $5,250 buy-in. Santana ran deep, busting in 43rd for $22,500. Next up was the $3,250 buy-in World Series of Poker Circuit High Roller in October. Santana final tabled the prestigious event, bowing out fifth for $27,379.

Santan is playing smaller stakes today, but make it count. From 20,000 starting chips, he sits on 150,000 late in Level 11 and is one of the tournament big stacks.

Michael Graffeo recently stacked a notable pot giving himself better than 100,000 in chips. Graffeo has already enjoyed some minor success during this Escalator Series, making Day 2 of last week’s $350 before finishing 26th for $1,878. With 100 big blinds midway through Level 10, he’s in prime position to maneuver his way through a thinning field and find a Day 2 again.
