Event 1 Day 1D: Simon Tremblay Uses Last Hand of Play to Secure 1D Chip Lead

Hand-for-hand play only last a single hand on the fourth flight of the Ultimate Re-Entry event, but it had a lasting impact on the flight. Not only did the last hand of the day burst the money bubble, but it also produced the chip leader.

Simon Tremblay bags up the chip lead for Day 1D thanks to a huge double up on the last hand. His queens held up against deuces and he finished the day with 338,000.

Former SHRP Player of the Year, Ory Hen, also finished near the top of the counts with 226,000. Drew Johnson and Ariel Rosello finished the day and became the 10th and 11th players to double bag the event and earn cash.

Through four flights, there are 1,295 entries, and 117 players with a spot on Day 2. 11 players have bagged multiple times. David Prociak all of the survivors with 579,000.
