Queens holding up against two ace-kings propelled Barbaro Diaz to the chip lead for Day 1F and the overall chip lead.
Diaz bagged 432,000 just edging out Vasilii Leschenko’s 424,000 from Day 1B and will lead the pack on Day 2 tomorrow.
Other players were able to capitalize on the risk-takers at the end of the night and put up some outstanding chip counts as well. Scott Menard bagged 374,000 and Evan Dollinger ended the night with 363,500. Michael Delgado rallied late to score 355,000, Christopher Nelson finished at 322,000 and Payam Pourghassem totaled 321,000.
Overall, 75 players advanced bringing the final total to 391 players going on to Day 2. Total entries for Event 1 ended up at 1,724.
