After taking a big knock early, Mike Ortiz is back climbing the counts following a pair of recent double-ups.
On the first double, Nicholas Mahabee raised to 425,000 from early position and Ortiz shoved for his last roughly 350,000. Schuyler Thornton was in the small blind and called Mahabee’s raise. Ortiz was at risk while Mahabee and Thornton battled for a side pot.
