Federico Salas

Day 2 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open kickoff event ended with 34 players remaining from the field of 7,532 entries. Leading the way is Federico Salas with 12,225,000 (98 bb), followed closely by Courtney Rowe with 12,075,000 (97 bb).

Salas rocketed up the chip counts during the final level of the day after getting in most of his stack with top two pair against Roberto Bendeck’s set. The four-out river that Salas needed came in dramatic fashion, and Salas’ place near the top of the chip counts was secure. Rowe had chipped up earlier, finding a full double through David Jackson after the dinner break with aces full of sevens against Jackson’s trip sevens.

Day 3 is Monday at 1 p.m. and play will conclude until we have a winner.

Full chip counts and the Day 3 table and seat draw will be posted shortly.
