Nipun Java has been having a pretty nice time over the last few months. The pro grinder began his run with a deep finish in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for a 22nd place cash then followed up with a win in Event 27 the next day.

Java rode the hot streak into his summer at the WSOP and picked up his first two career bracelets. Both were in unique events; one in the $1,000 Tag Team event (to give India its first WSOP win) and the second was the WSOP Online Championship.
