We were pretty confident the entry count would hit 310 before the first but didn’t realize it was going to get there before the first hour was complete. That 310th entry put the combined total for Event 1 at 2,000 to push the prize pool up to $600,000.

A fine number with room to grown.

Tampa regular Karl Manouchakian is back in action today and trying to duplicate his success on this side of the state. While Manouchakian has plenty of big results on the gulf coast, including a first and second place finish last summer during the WPTDeepStacks Seminole Hard Rock Tampa series, but he’s still looking for his first final table appearance here.
