Two of the more interesting characters in today’s flight have known each for their entire life. At least one of them for his entire life.

Jeff and Zach Kessler are a father/son pair who enjoying their time throwing chips around in poker tournaments. They have a friendly rivalry and spend a lot of time giving each other the needle, probably even a few pride-based last longer bets.

Last year this series was run in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise and the two were often close enough to keep track of the other’s stack. When asked who is the more successful Kessler, Zach would probably point to his $125,000 in career tournament earnings while father Jeff could just point to his Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” Seniors Event trophy from last November.
