The player under the gun opened with a raise to 115,000, leaving just 3,000 behind. A couple seats over, Felipe Perez failed to notice the action.

Since Perez verbalized his action first, he was bound to a minimum raise and forced to make it 220,000 total. He did so with a shrug. “It’s okay, I have a good hand,” he said.
