On the last hand before the break, Konstantinos Pantaridis tangled with the chip leader and got away with it.

After pre-flop betting by Pantaridis and John McDonald, the flop brought out a board.  McDonald fired away, Pantaridis went all-in and was called.

With top pair and the up-and-down straight draw, McDonald hoped for a card to end Pantaridis’s day but the and would not do it and Pantaridis picked up a much-needed double-up.
