Event 16: Short-handed Poker

$300 + $50 No Limit Hold’em 6-Max Deep Stack Turbo

Blinds: 25/25

It’s the final day of preliminary events for the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” before a day off on Thursday and the Main Event kicking off on Friday. Both events today will be full of action and gambling starting with Event 16.

The noon tournament today combines a turbo format with 6-Max tables. Players have come to enjoy the short-handed version of the game and we expect a great field. The $350 buy-in tournament has a $20,000 guarantee and players start with 16,000 stacks to play 15-minute levels.

The math tells us they will begin with 640 big blinds, plenty of room to make moves regardless of the fast structure.

They will play down to a winner this evening, no one wants to come back on Thanksgiving to finish it out.

We’ll be here all day bringing live updates from the final two tournaments before the $1,650 Main Event and its $500,000 guarantee.
