Coming into Event 19, Lance Goldenberg held a slight lead in the Leaderboard Promotion over several people just a few points behind. That lead is now gone and in fact Goldenberg has dropped to third place after Event 19 changed it all. First, Peter Striano would take 4th place in event 19 moving him into a commanding lead with 85 points. This was Striano’s third top 4 finish. Then to make matters worse for Goldenberg, when play was three handed the players did a chip count chop and Jonathan Ounjian was declared the winner. This put Jonathan in 2nd place on the Leaderboard Promotion with 70 points and moved Goldenberg into 3rd with 65. There is still one tournament remaining in the series and a number of players have a shot at the top two prizes that are awarding seats into the $10,000,000 Guarantee in April.
