Event 2: Mary Plant – 7th Place ($1,000)

$350 Omaha 8B (Re-Entry)
Level 20: 8,000/16,000 Limits

“I’ve been card dead.” Mary Plant commented to the table. When someone mentioned the dealers part in that problem, Plant said “It’s never the dealer’s fault.”

A refreshing comment from an Omaha/8 table. Plant finally found a hand and put in her last chips. Don Todd and Claudangelo Beaudouin came along to the Kc6d3d flop. Todd check-called bets all the way down to the river as the board completed Qs5d.

Beaudouin quickly showed his hand announcing the rivered nut flush holding AhAdQcTd and Todd showed a low with As6s5s4d. The table gave a groan when they saw Plant’s unlucky hand. She flopped well with AcKhKd8c but was gone in 7th place courtesy of an unlucky river.
