Kory Kilpatrick, who won a World Series of Gold bracelet in 2014, opened for 2,000 from middle position and was met by a three-bet from Taylor Paur, who was to his direct left. Action folded back to Kilpatrick, and he tanked for a bit before moving all in.

Paur, who had 27,500 back, didn’t seem thrilled but called off nonetheless after pondering for a few moments.

The flop looked dangerous as it contained an ace, but it also included the case queen to give Kilpatrick a set. Paur could still win with another ace, but he was left wanting as the  blanked on the turn followed by the river.
