Leonard August and Jeter Brock played a few hands heads up, August pipped a small lead and the two decided to divide up the remaining prize pool.
Brock earned $17,750 for the runner-up finish while August earned an even $18,000 in the deal and the Showdown trophy.
“I just wanted to match what I did in August,” Brock mentioned after the deal (August as in the SHRPO series and not his opponent). Brock finished that $1,100 Limit Omaha 8 Championship in second place as well and seemed content.
