Event 3: Can Quad Aces Kick Off a Comeback for Krystal Harris?

$350 Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry)
Level 16: 2,000/4,000

Krystal Harris
Krystal Harris

Krystal Harris was knocked down to just 9,000 in chips after Matthew Silva made a flush on her — down to just three big blinds.

The next hand, Michelle Shah raised from the cutoff to 9,000, Harris called all in from the button, and Joel Harwood called from the big blind.

The flop came Ad10c4d, Harwood checked, Shah bet, and Harwood folded. Shah showed Qs10d5d3s for a pair of tens with a diamond flush draw and a gutshot straight draw. Harris turned over AsAhJd3c for a set of aces, and she needed it to hold to stay alive.

The turn was the 8s, the river was the Ac, and Harris made quad aces to win the pot and triple up to 27,000 in chips.

Harris has been holding on since then, staying alive but unable to build up much more momentum.

Here are the approximate chip counts halfway thru Level 16:
