Event 5: Luke Brereton – 7th Place ($3,969)

$1,100 Six Max No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 15: Blinds 1,200/2,400/400 ante

It wasn’t a boring final table for Luke Brereton but it wasn’t a successful one either. He began the final table in the middle of the pack before sending most of his chips to Daren Stabinski.

Stabinski was all-in and racing with 7h7s against Brereton’s AhQs and the dealer put a boat on board with TcTs5h5cTh. Brereton played the board and Stabinski took the pot with the bigger boat.

Brereton survived a few more orbits but tried for the second time with Ducks. He was racing against with 2d2c against Jeffrey Trudeau’s As7d. The KsQhQc flop was clean-ish but the turn Ac finished him off in 7th place for $3,969.
