The clock strikes 11 a.m. and cards are in the air for Flight B of the $560 buy-in, $150,000 Deep Stack Series Deeper Stack event. Yesterday’s Flight A saw a starting field of 182 narrow to 41 remaining following 15 levels of play. Bagging the top stack was Gustavo Lopez who claimed 386,000.
Flight B marks the last of two starting flights in the event. Like yesterday, today’s players begin with 40,000 chips and are set to log 40-minute levels throughout. A 40-minute dinner break occurs following Level 9 and play concludes at the end of Level 15. Late registration and unlimited re-entry are available until the start of play tomorrow.
