Event 1 Day 1B: Unlucky Sevens

$570 Deeper Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 8: 300/600/75 ante

Brandon Miller hit big here in Level 8.

On a board of 4h7h7sKh, Miller (Melbourne, FL) bet out into an already sizeable pot after the flop putting his oppenent all-in and was snapped called.  Miller’s opponent flipped over 9d7d for trips but he showed he’d had him beat all the way with Kc7c for the full house.  For a little salt in the wound, the 9c hit giving his opponent another full house on the river but it wasn’t enough.  Miller raked the pot and sent his opponent out of the ballroom.

About 10 minutes remain before the players go on break here in Event 1.

Event 1 Day 1B: Be a Boss

$570 Deeper Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 7: 250/500/50 ante

It wouldn’t be Miami without the Boss in the house.

Dan Suied has arrived to take on the challenge of the opening event of this 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open.  The “Miami Boss” is no stranger to winning opening events at here as he took down the first event of the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open for $110,349.

Can Suied do it again?  We’ll see as play continues here in Event 1.
