Event 1 Day 1A: Under the Wire

$570 Deeper Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 10: 500/1,000/100 ante

Better late than never, there were a handful of top favorites and locals slinding in just before registration closed. Usually-vocal Nigel Murray is back in the ballroom along with online wizard Stuart Paterson and Stewart Newman.

Players are quickly chopping up the field with just four levels and change remaining in the initial Event 1 flight.

Event 2: Early Counts

$350 Omaha 8B (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 200/400 Limits

The field in the Omaha/8 tournament reached 50 entrants as the players took their first break of the day. Regular Luis Santoni (Aguanda, FL) is the early leader but there was little movement with big stacks and low levels.

Just two more hours remain to get to the ballroom and chop some pots.

Event 1 Day 1A: And Your Little Dog Too

$570 Deeper Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 5: 150/300/25 ante

Players have to make adjustments on the fly and now Natasha Barbour has a little companionship at her table. He’s very popular with her tablemates but that might change if the little guy brings her luck.

Barbour is back in action after taking her skills around the state. She looks to stay hot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with her biggest career cash came here after a 12th place finish in the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. Barbour was also an entertaining participant when Poker Night in America taped their Ladies Night cash game show here in December.
