Event 10 Day 1G: Joining The Party

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 12: 800/1,600/200 Ante

As we’ve reached the last four tables of 1G, two more players are starting to pile up chips.

Julio Sanchez and Karen Powsner are looking to contend for the chip lead at the end of Day 1G.

Amusingly, when we asked Karen her name she was nervous and thought she did something wrong before she understood it was for media.  But if gathering up other people’s chips is wrong, then she doesn’t want to be right the rest of the night

Event 10 Day 1H: A Sure-Fire Guarantee

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200

With an explosion of players and others busting out of Day 1G and headed to 1H almost immediately, Event 10 has hit the $150,000 guarantee.

Needing 262 entries in 1H to make it, the number was eclipsed here on Level 4 with the day’s count at 274 and climbing.   It should make for an outstanding prize pool for a $150 investment.

We’ll have the final numbers for Event 10 later in the evening.

Event 10 Day 1G: The Dynamic Duo

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 10: 500/1,000/100

The citizens of Day 1G are disappearing at a rapid rate but two heroes are seeing the signal to reach Day 2.

Michael Scheinberg and Javier Sarache are standing out in the crowd as both have accumulated huge stacks compared to the rest of the field.  Scheinberg currently sits at 160,000 and Sarache is holding strong at 145,000.

Can the Dynamic Duo advance?  Will an unknown villain emerge to steal their chips and take away their dreams of winning Event 2?  We’ll find out in the conclusion of Day 1G.
