Event 1 Flight C: Peter Walsworth Eliminated on the Money Bubble

$600 Deep Stack NLH (Single Re-Entry Per Flight)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 16: 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 ante

Peter Walsworth

Down to 2,000 after posting his big blind ante, Peter Walsworth was all in from the big blind.

Action on the side between Philipe Pizzari Pinto under the gun and Jorge Chavez in the cutoff resulted in Chavez all in for about 105,000.

Walsworth: Ad7h
Pinto: AsKd
Chavez: KsKc

The board came down 4d8h10c6h10s, good for Chavez to double through Pinto, while also eliminating Walsworth on the money bubble.

Jorge Chavez – 220,000 (44 bb)
Philipe Pizzari Pinto – 137,000 (27 bb)
Peter Walsworth – Eliminated on the Money Bubble

Event 1 Flight C: Money Bubble Time

$600 Deep Stack NLH (Single Re-Entry Per Flight)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 15: 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante
Flight C Players Remaining: 68  of 532

A short-stacked Aaron Massey was all in for about 50,000 from the big blind with Ah10h against his opponent in the small blind who held 9h4d.

The board ran out 2s2h4s9c6h, giving Massey’s opponent nines and fours to eliminate Massey a few places short of the money.

Meanwhile, Peter Walsworth’s AcKh failed to improve against an opponent’s JdJh when the board came Qs7d5d10d9s. Walsworth sent 140,000 to that player and shortly thereafter, Walsworth lost another 50,000 when his As10s couldn’t improve against an opponent’s AcJd.

Play is now hand-for-hand on the money bubble and Walsworth is the shortest stack with 7,000.

The field is shrinking and stacks are growing. SHRP regular Peter Walsworth looks like he has one of the biggest stacks in the room with 180,000. He is looking for his fourth major Hollywood trophy and coming off a third-place finish in the Tampa Winter Poker Open Main Event.

Three-time WSOP Circuit winner Ryan Van Sanford is nearby and he’s over 100,000 as well. Two tough players with chips.

Yuval Bronshtein

The H.O.R.S.E. field was sent on the first break of the day and we have another great turnout. Following in the footsteps of yesterday’s Limit Omaha 8 tournament, Event 3 has already surpassed the count from last year even with the Freeze-Out format.

Yuval Bronshtein is back after winning the Event 2 trophy and trying to go two-for-two in two days. Nick Pupillo has plenty of success in his career, including three WSOP Circuit rings and two HPT titles, but still looking for his first non-NLH win. Pupillo bagged a top 20 stack yesterday for Event 1 so he’s taking a shot for a H.O.R.S.E. trophy today.

James Calderaro

Soon after the first staggered break, Flight C hit the magic mark of 400 unique players which meant the field is now limited to those using their single re-entry option. The field moved over 500 entries during that time to push the prize pool over $700K with an easy path to $1,000,000.

James Calderaro is one of those getting here in time to join Flight C. The WSOP PLO High Roller bracelet winner always keeps things light at his table and they are having  a good time on a Friday afternoon.
