Main Event Day 1A: Dinner Break

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 200/400/50 ante

Players are now on a one hour dinner break. On the last hand before the break, Darryl Fish moved the rest of his short stack in and found two callers in Seat 2 and Seat 4. The flop came K-J-T with two diamonds. Seat 2 led out for 20K, Seat 4 moved all in for just a little more. Seat 2 made the call. Seat 2 had K-8 of clubs for top pair. Seat 4 had Q-J for 2nd pair with the open ended straight draw. Fish had A-7 and would need a queen to hit Broadway. The turn was a 6 and the river was an Ace giving Fish top pair but also giving Seat 4 the straight.  Fish grabbed his bag and hurried out of the room, not having to worry about returning from dinner.
