The Monster Stack went into hand-for-hand mode with 46 players remaining and they settled in for the long haul. This was no quick bubble.

With the clock paused and two minutes coming off for each hand, it took 12 hands for them to settle the matter. There were two double ups during that time, including SHRP champ Bryce McVay, but it had to end sooner or later.

Jason Gooch open-shoved from the hijack for 112,000 and Josias Santos called from the small blind to put him in trouble.

Gooch had two live cards but missed the entire board as it ran an all-low . Santos took the pot and Gooch hit the rail in 46th place.

The double tough blow, Gooch had to be the Monster Stack bubble boy on his birthday. Not a good start to his celebration.
