Event 7 of the 2025 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $300 Quad Stack No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha Mix (Re-Entry), drawing 118 entries and producing a prize pool of $29,500. A heads-up chop was made at the final table and Manny Traich was the slight chip leader at the time, making him the official Event 7 winner for $7,025.

This marked Tarich’s second SHRP major series trophy victory, having previously won the $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty event during the 2020 Lucky Hearts Poker Open.

Event 5 of the 2025 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Seniors 50+ No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 165 entries generated a prize pool of $85,800 and taking it down was a familiar face, as Kevin MacDonald went back-to-back and again won the initial Seniors event during the Showdown series, winning outright for $20,720.

Raminder Singh raised to 75,000 from the button and Kevin MacDonald called in the big blind.

The flop was , MacDonald checked, and Singh continued for 125,000. MacDonald check-raised to 450,000, Singh reraised all in for 780,000, and MacDonald called with for a king-high straight. Singh showed for a set of kings.

The turn and river completed the board, safe for MacDonald to win Event 5 outright for $20,720. Singh finished runner-up for $13,800.
