Event 12: T.K. Miles Eliminated by Ronit Chamani

$2,650 No Limit Hold’em (Freeze-Out)
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 6: 150/300 with a 50 ante
Entries: 348

Three players limped into the pot, including T.K. Miles on the button. Ronit Chamani squeezed in a raise from the small blind, and only the first limper folded.

The flop was all low cards, and Chamani continued with a bet of 2,500. The player in middle position called, and Miles raised all in for about 9,500. Chamani re-shoved, isolating with a chance at the knockout.

Miles showed Qd3d for a pair of threes, and Chamani rolled over an overpair with KdKh.

The board bricked off for Miles, and he was eliminated just before the second break.

Ronit Chamani – 38,000
T.K. Miles – Eliminated

Championship: Mark Herm Eliminated by Matt Berkey

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 16: 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante
Players Remaining: 92 of 887

Matt Berkey

Mark Herm was down to only 18,000 and moved all in from the cutoff. Matt Berkey called from the small blind to put him at risk.

Berkey: AhTc
Herm: JdJh

Herm was ahead for the double but needed to dodge the over card ace or some magic cards. The 9s8h2d flop was safe but he was in trouble after the Ad river. The 7c could not save his Championship while Berkey moved further into the lead.

Matt Berkey – 1,400,000 (233 bb)
Mark Herm – Eliminated in 93rd ($9,421)

Championship: Johnny “World” Hennigan Dispatches Harvey Vandeven

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 16: 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante
Players Remaining: 96

With roughly 75,000 in the middle and a board reading Qc10d6c9d, Johnny “World” Hennigan checked from middle position and Harvey Vandeven bet 35,000 from the cutoff.

Hennigan, who had the bigger stack, responded by check-raising all, and Vandeven hit the tank before calling off the 155,000 he had behind.

Vandeven: AhKd
Hennigan: 10c10h

Vandeven  was looking for a jack to make Broadway and double, but it didn’t come as instead the Qs river improved Hennigan to a full house.

John Hennigan – 560,000 (93 bb)
Harvey Vandeven – Eliminated in 97th Place for $9,421
