Registration closed for Flight C of RRPO Event 1 with 547 entries putting the combined total at 1,608 for the tournament. They put $530,640 toward the $1,000,000 guarantee, and it will get there sometime tomorrow.

Flight C will continue until 58 players remain and they will bag chips for a Day 2 return on Sunday at 1 pm in the money.

Another day means another Omaha tournament. This time around we have a Five-card Pot Limit Omaha tournament at 3 pm with a big $1,100 buy-in and two-day structure.

Players start with 20K deep stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 7 at 7:30 pm. They will play six more levels, plus one last break, and anyone with chips after Level 12 will bag for a Day 2 return on Friday at 1 pm.

The second break came to an end and registration closed for Flight C of RRPO Event 1 with unofficial 574 entries. Tournament staff are balancing the numbers and we will post the official count when it is available.

Satish Surapaneni is the front-runner in the middle of the day and the northeast grinder is up to 161,000 after four levels. There’s still a long was to go into the evening but he’s in great position to bag a big stack.

The Grand Ballroom is filling with Flight C players along with those in the H.O.R.S.E. and satellite. The combined total for Event 1 is nearing 1,500 with a long time to go.

Flight C players will work through Level 8 before taking another break and registration will close when they return. Still plenty of options available to join with Flight D at 6 pm and two more flights each on Friday and Saturday.

The H.O.R.S.E. tournament has an excellent turnout for the $600 buy-in version with 60 entries at the first break, and we’re sure to pick up a few more with registration available until 3:30 pm.

A few familiar faces include WSOP bracelet winner Chris Tryba, seven-time Hollywood major champ Gabe Ramos, Joel Harwood, and David Shmuel.

Action got back underway for Flight C with the count up to 450 for the afternoon session and it will continue to climb until registration closes at 2:30 pm.

Some more familiar faces include Noah Piderit, Nancy Thomas, Vitor Coelho, Jeremy Becker, Lou Stadler, Solange Lucas, and Francis Margaglione. Piderit is trying to match his father and brother after both Eric and Caleb bagged in Flight A.

WPT Meetup Game Starts at Noon

It’s not all tournament action this afternoon; we also have a big WPT Meet Up Game getting underway in the Poker Room at noon.

WPT Ambassadors Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen are in town and hosting the Meet Up Game from noon till 10 pm this evening. There will be plenty of $2/$5 action underway, followed a player party at PLA from 10 pm till midnight.

You can join the fun by going to the Poker Room, putting your name on the signup list, and getting a seat in the game!

Another level and another big number crossed. 300 plus entries so far this morning and we haven’t hit the afternoon hours yet.

With the weekend on the horizon, we are starting to see some visitors come to town for the RRPO opener including a couple of champs from our sister room in Tampa.

Dan Wilson captured the Seniors 50+ title during Tampa’s Pinktober Poker Open in 2021 and Quentin Jones won a big one with a WPTDeepStacks Tampa Main Event victory in 2018.

Event 5: H.O.R.S.E. on Deck

It’s just about time for one of the more popular games on any of our schedules. We have two H.O.R.S.E. tournaments on the schedule for this series, and the $600 buy-in version gets underway at 11 am.

H.O.R.S.E. players start with 15,000 chips in their stack and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. They have a 45-minute dinner break schedule at 5 pm and return to play it out to a winner.
