Matt Bond

Matt Bond open-shipped for 3,525,000 from the cutoff and Fred Goldberg called in the small blind with the bigger stack.

Bond: As9s
Goldberg: JdJc

Bond needed help if he was going to double up again at the final table but the 6h6s5c7cKc board did him no favors to send him out in fifth place.

Fred Goldberg – 17,500,000 (58 bb)
Matt Bond – Eliminated in 5th Place ($206,900)

Action folded to Darryll Fish in the small blind, and he moved all in for 1,975,000. Istvan Briski was sitting in the big blind and instantly called with a monster.

Fish: Qs7c
Briski: KdKh

Fish was in rough shape and it only got worse when Briski flopped a set of kings on the AcKs7h board. The turn was Qh and Fish was drawing dead to the 4s river for a sixth-place finish.

Istvan Briski – 23,400,000 (94 bb)
Darryll Fish – Eliminated in 6th Place ($157,800)
