The penultimate day is upon us in the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” Championship with only 18 players still here with a shot at the big title. What started with 760 entries is now down to only two tables and they return today at noon aiming for a shot at the final table.
WSOP bracelet winner Upeshka De Silva holds a huge chip lead at the restart with 6 million of the 22.8 million chips in play. His closest rival is Matthew Zaradoolas with 1.745 million and some other talented players trying to chase him down including Ari Engel, Mark Dube, Ben Keeline, and a dangerous short-stacked Will “The Thrill” Failla.
The two tables will be split between the ballroom and the Poker Night in America live-streamed feature table. They will continue playing today until only the final table six remain for their time in front of the TV cameras tomorrow.
They will get back underway at noon and we will bring you all the action.
The time has come to run the last new tournament of the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” series. It concludes with a favorite among many, especially those who like to mix it up at the table.
Event 14 is a $300 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. tournament that will rotate games between Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha/8, Razz, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud/8. A little something in there for there for everyone. It will play eight-handed and change the game every eight hands.
Entrants will sit down to 10,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels. Late registration is available until the start of Level 8 at 4pm and players can re-enter as often as needed if they bust their stack. This is a one-day tournament and we will hand out one of our last trophies of the series when it is complete.
They kick things off in the back of the ballroom at noon and we will follow them until they wrap it up.

Event 12 is the final multi-day tournament on the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” schedule and this is the final day to join in. Three flights ran yesterday and drew enough players to nearly hit the $100,000 Guarantee at the halfway point.
Flights A, B, and C drew 665 entries to leave the tournament only 186 from hitting the magic six-digit number and they should get there before registration closes on Flight D. That would leave two more full flights to run the number up higher.
Each Event 12 entrant begins with a 10,000 starting stack and the tournament runs 30-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration is open for Flight D until the start of Level 7 at 2:20pm and they will play down until the end of Level 14. Survivors will bag up their chips for a Day 2 return tomorrow at 1pm.
