With 442 entries in Flight A, the tournament is nearly a quarter of the way to the $1,000,000, with a huge weekend expected. Get your Day 2 seat early in the “smaller” Thursday fields.

They will play out Level 8, take a 15-minute break while the black chips come out of play, and return with registration closed.

We weren’t exactly sure what to expect from our first-ever 2-7 Triple Draw tournament, but we like the numbers so far. They are on their first break with more than 60 entries so far and four more levels (plus a break) to push it higher.

Some familiar faces so far include Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler, John Holley, A.J. Kelsall, Yuval Bronshtein, David Shmuel, and Aime Martini, plus father/son pair Eric and Caleb Piderit.

Players returned to their seats with four more levels left to spin up the entry count for this first flight of six. We have a great start of the mid-series big game.

Louisiana’s Nick Toralba is the earlier leader with 78,000 while Shanmukha Meruga and Stephenson Decius are separated by a single 1K chip for second and third.

Flight A of Event 21 is about ready to take their first break not long after the entry count crossed over 300. They are setting up for a very big number by the time registration closes late Saturday evening.

Two past champs joined the field before the break. Darryll Fish was our WPT LHPO Champion in 2018 and Colin Robinson won our $1,100 Shootout during the last RRPO series.

We had a great kick-off to our first-ever Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw tournament with nearly 40 entries after getting underway. Players have been asking for this event and they are turning up.

Players start with 15 out front and all levels will last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm with a 45-minute dinner break scheduled at 5 pm.

It’s an exciting time in the Meeting Room across the hall, a little quiet space for the old-school game.

The second weekend of the series is just about here and we have our first tournament with a $1,000,000 guarantee. Event 21 kicks off with Flight A at 10 am, the first of six starting flights for the $600 Deep Stack.

Players start with 20,000 in their stacks and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes on Day 2 and 60 after Level 24. Late registration and unlimited re-entries available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm.

Flight A will come to an end when 10% of the field remains and they will advance to Day 2 on Sunday at 1 pm in the money.

2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 18 Champion Alvin Davis

Event 18 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Deep Stack Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 165 entries generated a prize pool of $86,625, and winning the lion’s share of that was Alvin Davis, winning the tournament outright for $22,920.
