Flight E is packing the Grand Ballroom and we are on pace for the biggest flight of the series, that will last until tomorrow morning when the Saturday crowd shows up.

Antonious, one of our nicest players, was the first to walk into the room this morning and received an impromptu warm round of applause from dealers and staff. A nice way to start the morning.
Switching up to another Omaha game this morning in the Grand Ballroom at 11 am. This time around we have a $600 Limit Omaha 8 tournament with a lot of chips and great structure.
Players start with 25,000 in their stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day trophy event. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. The 45-minute dinner break is schedule at 5:30 pm followed by a lot of split pots before we have our Event 8 champ.

The first weekend of the three-week Showdown series is here and ready to go big. The $400 Deep Stack is getting closer to its $1,000,000 guarantee and it’s a virtual lock to get there before it blasted much much higher.
Players sit with 20,000 out front and all levels last 30 minutes on Day 1 before going up to 40 minutes on Day 2 and 60 in Level 24. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm and they may refire during that time.
Flight E will wrap up when 12.5% of the field remains and survivor will book tickets for Day 2 on Sunday at 1 pm in the money.

Event 6 of the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Deep Stack Big O event. A field of 117 entries generated a prize pool of $60,480.
Matthew Kaplan captured his fourth SHRPO guitar pick trophy when the last event playing on the second day of the tournament series played out to a conclusion. In addition to the trophy, Kaplan took home $16,190 for the victory.
The final two players were close to chopping when their chip counts were nearly even during heads-up play, but they decided to play it out with the hardware on the line in addition to the extra prize money.

Event 7 of the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $300 Quad Stack NLH/PLO Mix event. A field of 102 entries generated a prize pool of $25,500.
Matt Bretzfield took home his ninth SHRPO guitar pick trophy after the final six players decided to a chop. In addition to the trophy Bretzfield took home $4,656 for the victory. It was an emotional win for Bretzfield, who was playing in a tournament for the first time since one of his close friends passed.
He is now in the mix for most SHRPO guitar pick trophies won, sitting just two behind the current leader Raminder Singh who holds 11 trophies.
