The next new trophy event on the schedule gets underway with Event 20 at 1 pm. It is a $600 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament with more chips and eight-handed tables.

Players start with 30K triple stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 5:30 pm and players may fire as often as needed while reg is open. The 45-minute dinner break is scheduled for 7:30 pm, and they’ll return to find out the next Showdown champ.

The second of three flight for Showdown Event 16 starts at noon and the $400 Deep Stack Pot-Limit Omaha tournament will get closer to its $100,000 and just might get there with one more flight to go.

Players start with 20,000 out front and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes on Day 2. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm.

Flight B will play down to the last 12.5% of the field and survivors will return in the money tomorrow at 1 pm for Day 2.

We have two H.O.R.S.E. tournaments running during the series and the first of the popular games goes at noon. This time around it has a $400 buy-in and will attract some talented players to have fun with the game variants.

They’ll start with 25K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day trophy event. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm. They’ll take a 45-minute dinner break at 6:30 pm and return to play down to a H.O.R.S.E. champ.

The popular $200 Big Stack multi-flight tournament gets underway today with three flights and a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. This is a great tournament for all bankrolls and a lot of return on the investment.

Players start with 15,000 in their stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 7. Each flight will play down to the last 10% of the field and survivors will return on Wednesday for Day 2 at 1 pm in the money.

Flight A starts at 11 am with late registration available until 2:30 pm. Flight B at 3 pm with registration open until 7:30 pm and Flight C at 7 pm.

2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 13 Champion Chris Tryba

Event 13 of the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $400 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 548 entries generated a prize pool of $180,840, nearly doubling the $100,000 guarantee.

Emerging victorious was Chris Tryba, winning outright for $34,000.

This marked Tryba’s second SHRP major series trophy, having previously won a $400 Omaha 8/Stud 8 during the 2021 Showdown.
