With the board reading QsJs3h9c and about 850,000 already in the pot, Chad Eveslage checked the small blind, and Jerry Robinson  shoved from the big blind for 325,000.

Dan Chalifour folded the cutoff, Jason Marshman folded the button, and Eveslage called.

Robinson turned up KcJh and needed to hold against Eveslage’s Ad10h draw.

The river was the 5s, a brick for Eveslage, and Robinson scooped the pot. Chad Eveslage lost the chip lead to James Carroll for the first time today.

Eric Afriat opened from the button and Victor Figueroa defended his big blind.

The flop came 10c9s2c, Figueroa checked and Afriat continued for 150,000.  Figueroa check-raised all in for 825,000, and Afriat called.

Figureoa had the best of it for the moment with Jc10s against Afriat’s Ac3c.

The turn  was the 2d and Afriat pleaded to the dealer, “Seven of clubs, seven of clubs, seven of clubs.”

The river brought the Kc and Afriat immediately fist pumped saying, “Yes!”

Figueroa is eliminated in 13th place for a $44,600 payday.
