With the final board reading g two-time WPT champion Eric Afriat bet 130,000 from the small blind into a pot of around 600,000. Brett Murray thought shortly before he called from the big blind.
Afriat showed to win the pot with a pair of aces, and Murray mucked. Murray dropped down to about eight big blinds.

Ray Qartomy began the day with only five big blinds and made it a few hands before he took a shot. He was in the big blind and action folded all the way around to Aaron Mermelstein in the small. He put in a stack to cover Qartomy and he called in the dark.

Cards are in the air for Day 4 of the Championship with 14 players remaining. They will continue their day until on six players are still in around to play the televised final table.
We’re giving everyone a little something on our last day in the Event Center, buy-in levels across the board. Event 27 is in the middle and the $360 buy-in Big Stack NLH tournament has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Entrants will start with 15,000 stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30pm with unlimited re-entries and there is a 40-minute dinner break scheduled at 6:30pm.
Once dinner is complete, they will return to play down to a winner.

Day 4 of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship has a simple mission. Make it down from 18 players to the last six who will sit in front of the WPT television cameras to grind it out for the trophy on May 30th.
Chad Eveslage returns with a huge lead, more than double that of second place James Carroll.
Maria Ho, Ryan D’Angelo, Eric Afriat, former November Niner Jerry Wong, and three-time Super Bowl Champion Richard Seymour are some of the notables still in the hunt for the trophy.

The $25K High Roller was a success with players coming out for the big buy-in, big prize tournament. We had 99 entries to easily surpass the $2,000,000 Guarantee and put nearly $2.5 million up for grabs.
Of those 99 entries, we still have 16 around for Day 2 and their first order of business will be making it into the money. Only 14 of them will get paid and the bubble should get here in a hurry.
Former SHRPO Big 4 event winner Alex Foxen returns with the chip lead and Andjelko Andrejevic is second as the only players with over one million chips. They begin the day at the same table with third place James Calderaro in between them.
