First in from middle position, Ian O’Hara moved all in for 81,000, and action folded to Jean Gaspard. He stood up from his chair, interrupting his massage and revealing his shirt that reads, “Rise up against the odds.” Gaspard spent a minute talking through the predicament, verbally admonishing himself to fold. Eventually, though, he called to put his opponent at risk.

Jose Beznos tournament came to an end in two quick hands after the break. The first came when he had Casey Kaplan all-in and at risk with Ad4h against Kaplan’s QdQs. The board ran dry 7d6h4s6c3d to give Caplan the double and knock Beznos under five big blinds.

He moved all-in on the next hand and Ruslan Dykshteyn called in the big blind without looking. Beznos was ahead with Kc7d against 6h3s until Dykshteyn hist the Th9d3c flop. The Qs turn and Ts were no help and Beznos was gone in 7th place.
