The last new tournament on today’s schedule is a special one for our Omaha fans. Event 22 is a $1,100 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha 8 tournament, four cards and splitting pots over a two-day trophy event.
Players start with 20,000 deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 and players may re-enter once if they bust out. The tournament will play down to the final table and those players will return tomorrow at 1 pm to play for the title.

Flight E of SHRPO Event 18 is ready to go in the Grand Ballroom and they’ll build on an already successful tournament. The $200 Big Stack topped its $200,000 earlier in Flight D and now they’re spinning it up.
Players start with 15,000 stacks out front and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 7 at 6:30 pm. They will continue playing into the evening until only 10% of the field remains to advance to Day 2 tomorrow at 2 pm in the money.

Jeff Silverstein opened to 30,000 from early position and Mark Dickstein moved all for 79,000 from the small blind. Silverstein called and they were racing.

Dickstein needed to improve to stay in the game and paired his ace on the flop. Silverstein picked up a gutshot draw on the turn but Dickstein faded the river to double up.

During a round of Stud, Harrison Luba got it all in on 3rd street for 22,000 against Phil Hui.

On sixth street, Luba had a pair of jacks, and needed it to hold to stay alive.
Seventh street was dealt, and Hui flipped over first, showing the to take the lead with two pair, fives and threes.
Luba needed to improve to stay alive, but his final card was the , leaving him with just the pair of jacks. Hui won the pot to eliminate Luba in fifth place.

The Seniors Event final table went on break with nine players remaining, Neil Blumenfield further in the lead, and Jeff Silverstein built his stack with no flops.
The next hand, three players put in 30,000 each to see a flop of . Phil Hui checked from UTG, and Scott Baumstein bet 10,000 from the cutoff. Aaron Kupin called, Hui raised to 20,000, and Baumstein reraised to 30,000 (leaving himself just 4K behind).
Kupin went into thee tank for a long time before he eventually folded. Hui reraised, and Baumstein called all in for 34,000.

We put together a nice multi-flight Pot Limit Omaha tournament this week and the players came out in big numbers. It attracted 500 entries over three flights to turn the $100,000 guarantee into a $260,000 prize pool.
We have 64 players returning at 3 pm, all in the money, and working their way down to the final table and eventual Event 15 champ. They are each guaranteed at least $910 but they have more than $50K set aside for the winner.

With the elimination of former WSOP Ladies Champ Marsha Wolak, the $1,100 Seniors 50+ Event reached its nine-handed final table and Neil Blumenfield continued to hold the lead.
In the very first hand of the final table, during a Hold’em round, Michael Dreese called all in from the button for 3,000. Phil Hui completed the small blind to 10,000, and Lazaro Rodriguez checked his option in the big blind.
The flop came , Hui checked, Rodriguez bet 10,000, and Hui called.
The turn card was the , and both players checked. The river card was the , and they checked again. All three players showed their cards.
