$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 129 of 887

There was 30,000 in the pot, and flop read 8s8h5h when Salomon Sutton bet 34,000 on the button. The small blind folded, and Harrison Gimbel tanked before calling from middle position.

Both players checked the 7h on the turn, and the river delivered the Ks. Gimbel bet 4,000, and Sutton called. Gimbel revealed 10h10s, but Sutton showed Ac8c to win the pot.

Salomon Sutton – 280,000 (70 bb)
Harrison GImbel – 120,000 (30 bb)

Championship: The Ladies Love Tim Seidensticker

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 129 of 887

Tim Seidensticker raised to 10,000 under the gun and a player in middle position three-bet jammed for 55,000. Action folded back to Seidensticker and he wasted little time in making the call.

Seidensticker: QhQc
Opponent: 9d9c

Seidensticker improved to a set on the Qs8dJs flop, but his opponent picked up a gutshot straight draw to a ten. Fortunately for Seidensticker, the Jc turn locked it up for him by giving him a full house. The meaningless 7s was put out on the river and  Seidensticker was pushed the pot.

Tim Seidensticker- 345,000 (86 bb)

$5,250 SHRPO Championship

Level 14: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 129 of 887

Nipun Java raised to 9,000 preflop under the gun, and Jean Gaspard called UTG+1. The small blind called as well, and the flop is dealt Kh9s9c. Java bet 10,000, Gaspard raised to 32,000, and the small blind folded. Java tanked before calling, and the turn fell Ah.

Both players checked, and the river delivered the 3d. Java checked, Gaspard bet 55,000, and Java tanked before calling. Gaspard held Qh10h, but Java won the pot with KdJh in the hole.

Championship: Jerry Wong Doubles Through Dan O’Brien

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 129 of 887

Jerry Wong

Jerry Wong raised to 9,000 from middle position and Dan O’Brien called from the cutoff. The player in the big blind came along and three players took a flop of 2dJd4d.

Two checks saw O’Brien bet 14,000, the big blind folded, and Wong called to see the 6c turn, which he checked.

O’Brien bet again, this time 23,000, and Wong woke up with an all-in check-raise to 89,500. O’Brien quickly called and the hands were turned up.

O’Brien: AdJs
Wong: Qd10d

Wong had flopped the flush, which meant O’Brien needed another diamond to win the pot. The As river wasn’t what he was looking for and O’Brien was left with just a single T500 chip. He busted the very next hand.

Jerry Wong – 230,000 (58 bb)
Dan O’Brien – Eliminated

Championship: “Sunny Patel the Legend”

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 129 of 887

After a player raised to 8,500 from early position, Sunny Patel three-bet all in from the big blind. His opponent snap-called off for around 80,000 total and the cards were turned up.

Patel: 5c5h
Opponent: JcJh

Patel was way behind, but not after the 5dAd8s flop gave him another set (remember he hit one with queens against aces the level before). The 5s turn improved him to quads, and he was pushed the large pot after the Qc was run out on the river.

“Sunny Patel the legend,” one of his friends said from a table over. “He’s going to win, you can print that.”

Sunny Patel – 400,000 (100 bb)

Isaac Haxton

The player under the gun opened to 400, and Josh Hillock called in the cutoff. From the small blind, Isaac Haxton squeezed in a three-bet to 2,075. The initial raiser folded, but Hillock called to proceed heads-up.

The flop was 6h4h4s. Haxton continued for 3,000, and Hillock called. Both players checked through the 2h turn, which brought a third heart on board.

The river was the 9c. With one T25 chip capping his cards, Haxton cut out another 700 and set it aside, pushing the rest of his chips into the middle. It was about 13,000 total, and Hillock gave it a good look before surrendering his cards into the muck.

Isaac Haxton – 24,500
Josh Hillock – 24,000

Sean Perry: 6d5d  win 21.7% tie 0.46%
Andy Spears: AdAh  win 77.8% tie 0.46%

The board came Kc8h3h7d4s and Perry hits his straight on the river to eliminate Spears. Spears stands up and says “Ok. Good luck.” Perry responded to the table “he three-bet me four times.”

Sean Perry  –  40,000
Andy Spears  –  Eliminated

Championship: Chip Leader Sends Blake Bohn to the Rail

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Payouts
Level 13: 1,500/3,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 153 of 887

Blake Bohn

Action folded to chip leader Jae Hwang in the cutoff and he raised to 8,000. Blake Bohn, who currently sits second on Minnesota’s all-time poker money list, then three-bet all in for roughly 65,000 from the button. Both blinds hurriedly folded and Hwang snap-called.

Bohn: 9s8s
Hwang: AhAs

Bohn got a little help on the 9c3s2h flop, but he needed even more to crack Hwang’s aces. Given the title of this post, you know that didn’t happen as the 7c bricked on the turn followed by the Ks on the river.

Jae Hwang – 540,000 (180 bb)
Blake Bohn – Eliminated
