It didn’t take long for Event 14 to rip right past the $50,000 Guarantee and the prize pool is over $60,000 in the second level of the day. Nearly 4 hours left in late registration so we’re going to have a nice number in the end.

Michael Wang is back in the ballroom, among the crowd of players making their way to South Florida for the big Championship week on the horizon. This is a nice little warm up for him as later he tries to add a WPT title to his WSOP bracelet and WSOP Circuit ring.

The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown schedule has one new tournament on deck for some Tuesday afternoon action. Event 14 is a $570 buy-in tournament with a six-handed format and $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The series is getting ready for Championship week and we expect to see a talented group show up for the short-handed game.

Entrants sit down to 12,000 starting stacks and play 30-minute levels until we have a new champion. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9 at 4:30pm and players are limited to a single re-entry if their stack hits the felt. Event 14 is a one-day tournament and will play out to completion later this evening.
